Lionbrew Cafe specializes in a variety of delectable cold sandwiches and hot drinks, serving up an array of flavours that cater to both traditional palates and modern tastes. The star of their cold sandwich selection includes the classic Ham and Cheese, tender Chicken Tikka, and the ever-reliable Tuna sandwich, all priced affordably. For those craving something more substantial, the Club Sandwich—available hot or cold—offers a fulfilling, layered delight at just £4.50.

Don't miss out on the hot drinks menu! Savor a rich and creamy Cappuccino or indulge in a comforting Hot Chocolate, each crafted to perfection with a price tag that won’t break the bank: just £2.50. The dining atmosphere is another highlight; the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the friendly smiles of the staff, creating a sense of community that makes you feel right at home. Customers rave about their experiences, from the 'fantastic little cafe' charm noted by Hugh McNally, who praises the Builder’s Breakfast for its exceptional value, to others who commend the café's 'polite and friendly service' that has kept them coming back since its opening. Frank Ball’s longstanding loyalty is echoed by many, with praises lining the walls of this delightful establishment.

Moreover, the generous portions will leave you satisfied and ready to return. Mags Burgess shared her delight after trying the 'huge & very tasty' filled barms, and Paul Sinnott enjoyed a quick 'brew and a butty' in a lovely sitting area surrounded by easy parking—perfect for a spontaneous visit. The vibrant team adds an extra layer of joy to your experience, as Hannah Foster beautifully puts it: 'the girls are such fun people to be around.'

In summary, Lionbrew Cafe is not just another café; it’s a delightful experience that combines heartfelt service with a menu designed for comfort and satisfaction. Ordered takeaway today, the spam and Egg barm was nice and good value for money. The cheese and onion panini was as flat as a pancake though (you expect a bit of squish with paninis, but this was very squashed), flavour of it OK, but probably won't get that item again. Brownie nice and moist. Overall, for under £15 delivered, can't complain!
